The conference on " Enlightenment and Social-ideological views of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh" was held

The Republican conference on " Enlightenment and Social-ideological views of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh" was held at the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS.
The event was opened by academician Isa Habibbayli, vice-president of ANAS, and said that the conference was held under the Presidential Decree dated January 17, 2019 "On the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh". He noted that according to the above mentioned document, a number of conferences are being held by scientific institutions and organizations, as well as scholars give regular articles in the press regarding the works of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh.
I.Habibbeyli noted Mirza Jalil's exceptional services in the development of democratic thinking in Azerbaijan in the early 20th century, the existence of the Republic-style independent statehood on the agenda of the people, as well as reminding the borders of our historical territories. According to him, the writer has harshly criticized colonial activity, moral, political despotism, and fanaticism, ignorance of Tsarist Russia, which hindered the socio-cultural development of the people in his works, and tried to accentuate the people and explain their rights. The director of the Institute of Philosophy, Doctor of Philosophy, professor Ilham Mammadzadeh said that national and universal values reflected in the writer's works, his humorous and critical approach to his small stories gave rise to the national revival in the early 20th century and the development of ideas of freedom. The conference was also attended by Phd in philosophy, Eynulla Madatli with the lectures "Heritage of Heydar Aliyev and Jalil Mammadguluzadeh", Doctor of Science in Philosophy, professor Rafael Ahmedli's "Public-political meetings of Jalil Mammadguluzadeh", PhD in philosophy Aytek Mammadova's "Two Challenges for Great Events: Ismayil bey Gaspirali and Jalil Mammadguluzadeh ", PhD in philosophy, Faig Alekberli's "Jalil Mammadguluzade's outlook on nation, religion and modernization issues ".
