Aesthetics
The head of the department is Doctor of Philosophical Sciences, professor Adil Asadov.
Aesthetics Department was founded in 2010 on the basis of "Philosophy of Beauty".
In 1986-1989, Adil Asadov studied philosophy at the graduate school of the Institute of Philosophy and Law of the Academy of Sciences of the Azerbaijan SSR (Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences). He did not finish his postgraduate studies in time and defended his dissertation on "Historical types of thinking and engineering activity" and received the degree of Candidate of Philosophical Sciences. In 1994 he defended his dissertation on "Dynamics of thinking in the context of the system" Society and Nature "and received the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. After graduating from the university, he worked at the Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences and passed all the steps of his scientific activity: junior researcher, research officer, senior researcher, leading researcher, leading researcher. The department has 2 leading researchers, 1 senior researcher, 2 senior researchers, 2 senior laboratory assistants.
